On 11 January 2020 thousands of judges, prosecutors and lawyers from Poland and other European countries, accompanied by citizens marched the street of Warsaw in defence of judicial independence.
This march has never stopped and is more needed than ever in many countries and regions of the world.
Therefore, the International Association of Judges invites you to commemorate this even with us at a webinar, comprising stories about judicial heroes from Europe, Africa and America.
Let’s talk about judicial independence, because it is not a privilege of the judges.
It is the basic human right of each and every citizen of the globe.
This is a public event and we kindly ask our members to share the information and the link with anyone who might be interested.
