The next 2026 IAJ annual meeting will take place in Lisbon (Portugal), from 15 to 21 of October 2026. Hereinafter an overview of the programme.

- The meeting will start on Thursday, October 15, in Lisbon, with the arrival of delegates.
- No transfer is planned from the airport to the Hotels. This is due to the easy access, low cost, and short travel time – compared with the high expense of organizing buses. The most reasonable and efficient option is for each participant to arrange their own transport to and from the airport.
- Friday, October 16:
- h9.00 – h15.00: Regional Group meetings;
- h17.00 – h19.00: opening ceremony and reception;
- h19.00: welcome dinner.
- Saturday, October 17:
- h9.00 – h12.00: 1st meeting of the Central Council;
- h13.00 – h16.00: meeting of the Study Commissions;
- Free afternoon/night.
- Sunday, October 18:
- h9.30 – h12.30: International Conference on “The Importance of National and International Associations for the Preservation of the Rule of Law and Human Rights”;
- h14.00 – h17.00: 2nd meeting of the Central Council;
- By h17.00: free time;
- h21.00: party night.
- Monday, October 19:
- h9.00 – h13.00: 3rd meeting of the Central Council;
- Afternoon: Free time.
- Tuesday, October 20:
- free morning;
- h13.00 – h17.00: Excursion/social program – Visit to the City of Sintra – UNESCO World Heritage site;
- h18.00 – h21.00: farewell dinner.
- Wednesday, October 21: departure of delegates.
