On Thursday 21st of May, on the occasion of the annual spring meeting of the European Association of Judges (EAJ), H. R. H. the Grand Duke of Luxembourg Guillaume V. received a delegation composed by IAJ President Walter Barone, IAJ First Vice President and EAJ President Sabine Matejka, IAJ and EAJ Vice Presidents Roland Kempfle and Dorota Zabludowska, IAJ Secretary General Giacomo Oberto, and, as representatives of the Groupement des Magistrats Luxembourgois (GML), its President Philippe Wadlé, Vice President Danielle Poletti, as well as members of the board Jessica Schneider and Jeanne-Marie Kappweiler, and its former President Georges Everling.
During the audience, various topics of the engagement of the EAJ in defending the rule of law and the challenges judges face in Europe were discussed.
