The Presidency Committee (PC) of the International Association of judges (IAJ) issued a Statement in support of the President of the Association of Tunisian Magistrates, Judge Anas Hmedi.
The PC took, in fact, note of the new criminal proceedings being initiated in Tunisia against Judge Anas Hmedi, based on media statements he made in his capacity as president of the association and in defence of judicial independence in Tunisia.
