Diego García-Sayán’s Article on the 70th Anniversary of the UN Human Rights Declaration

UN Special Rapporteur on the Independence of Judges and Lawyers, Mr Diego García-Sayán, published an article on the 70th Anniversary of the UN Human Rights Declaration. In this essay he describes as “discouraging” the fact that the European Court of Human Rights has declared inadmissible 30,063 applications lodged against Turkey for alleged “non-exhaustion of domestic remedies.”
