Council of Europe’ CEPEJ adopts first European Ethical Charter on the use of artificial intelligence in judicial systems

News of the IAJ

In the framework of its 31st plenary meeting (Strasbourg, 3 and 4 December, 2018), the  European Commission for the efficiency of justice (CEPEJ) adopted the first European text defining the ethical framework for the use of artificial intelligence in judicial systems.

Secretary-General Mr Giacomo Oberto, President of the SATURN Working Group of the CEPEJ, attended the meeting also on behalf of IAJ and EAJ
